Bottleblonde 2,342
Hey everyone, I feel like every family has that one person who is important to the rest of the family and cannot be missed. Ever since my grandfather died two years ago, I feel like my family hasn't been the same and that's why my grandfather is my 'Joanne'. He always was like a hero and an inspiration to me and he died way to soon . I was wondering if you have someone in your family like that, too. So who is your Joanne? Spoiler Btw this is a song I have written right after my grandfather died. It was a way to express my emotions. My 'Joanne' song. Black Aura
RAMROD 109,397
Nobody. My Mom’s family are racist and against her marriage to my Dad who is not the same race as them. They never keep in touch with them since. My Dad’s family are better but there are nobody who’s particularly very close. Luxe Ford 3,481
I used to say I was the result of generations of ill-matched genes, but now I think that's a bit harsh. The only one I can think of is my mom. It's hard for me to see her objectively, but everyone who meet her - from bosses to friends to pub owners, thinks she's a fantastic, strong woman. Which does makes me proud but at the same time leaves me wondering what the hell went wrong with me! lost in limbo 6,035
My grandfather. He died 3 years before I was born and he has the same name as me. Me and Gaga's situations resemble each other. I feel a huge connection to him like Gaga feels to Joanne even though I've never met him and I get really mad when people poke fun at Gaga's connection to her aunt bc I can relate to her. this is the state of grace, this is the worthwhile fight
