For horror i do prefer realism because imagine a zelda like horror game. That kinda sounds like it could work in a weird way One Banned Boi

Noctelus 2,815
Stylised for sure. Games can last much longer with stylised graphics. I do prefer realism for racing games though.

Florian 19,916
I can enjoy enjoy both style. It depends on my mood and what the editor has to offer. Most of my games are stylized tho because it allows more creative freedom most of the time. However I'm expecting way much more from realistic games. Graphics aren't interesting enough and will reach a limit pretty soon. I'm expecting more complex mechanisms (imagine grass bending when walked on in a FPS game so you could know people were there)
gagzus 14,458
i prefer stylised, games like Saints Row, Fable, Final Fantasy and Bioshock are my faves
PrinceOfTheStorm 5,904
I love Nintendo. My favorite games like Pikmim, Zelda, Metroid, etc. (You can throw every franchise at me and I most likely love them.) are from them. And I love the styles. Now special games that are realistic like for example DOOM, are the lovely exceptions that slay my existence with amazing gameplay. I’ll just leave my answer at that. signing out
Luxe Ford 3,481
They can be as stylized as possible as long as the hero is realistically hunky. But I like them in all shapes and forms. Games, that is. What happens in Luxe Ford stays in Luxe Ford
