Idk but if it does I hope they do 2 sides, like it’s used to be done in the rock music industry. Some artists still do it as a respect to the traditions.

because almost every movie nowadays has a soundtrack and a main theme released before/around the time the movies out.

plus the main character is a critically acclaimed popstar with a massive fanbase and if most of the music is Pop and how it seems it's going to be (ala The Cure) then it makes logical sense to release a main theme that's a pop song, can get airplay, be performed by Gaga in-concert and promote the movie.

But this is just my opinion from a marketing and logical standpoint, especially if the movie is getting a theatrical release and not just a limited one within the US or some film festival.

But wouldn't the songs spoil the movie?

La La Land had singles released.

Black Panther had singles released.

Etc.

The songs/singles make you watch the movie if you like them. It's promotion.

not necessarily, if it was just the main theme and wasn't from a scene in the movie and more like the main theme in the credits or that is inputed into the score in key moments per say, kind of like All The Stars from Black Panther or Mamma Mia from Mamma Mia! or the epic Hunger Games soundtrack Lorde had reign over.

For example if we didn't get it, The Cure could've been the main theme or Heal Me where it's less about a scene than a feeling and concept.

Well, it's a remake. We already know the story.

that the ASIB soundtrack will have single releases?

Do you know any soundtrack by a singer that didn't have single releases?

Sia - To Be Human is the main theme for Wonder Woman, yet it was only released with the soundtrack album, like all the other songs in the movie :)

Jk but I mean, at least a song will. If it's a hit or not and if it will be promoted are a whole other Story

But was Black Panther a musical? Mamma Mia songs were known. Hunger Games isn't a musical.

And I don't remember La La Land having singles?

It's not a remake though. Just the concept of the movie is known.

I mean a soundtrack headlined by one artist. Like purple rain, the bodyguard, glitter, crosswords, even multpile artists like in burlesque or dreamgirls
