gagzus 16,058 Posted March 4, 2018 Share Posted March 4, 2018 because almost every movie nowadays has a soundtrack and a main theme released before/around the time the movies out. plus the main character is a critically acclaimed popstar with a massive fanbase and if most of the music is Pop and how it seems it's going to be (ala The Cure) then it makes logical sense to release a main theme that's a pop song, can get airplay, be performed by Gaga in-concert and promote the movie. But this is just my opinion from a marketing and logical standpoint, especially if the movie is getting a theatrical release and not just a limited one within the US or some film festival.
