JustinTrudeau 2,419
Article: http://www.gafollowers.com/bill-passes-georgia-ban-gays-lesbians-adopting/ The Georgia state senate has passed a bill that would allow adoption agencies to refuse to place children with same-sex couples based on their religious beliefs. The bill would also prohibit the Georgia Department of Human Services from taking “adverse action” against such agencies. The bill passed 35-19 and will now head to the House for consideration. I don't care about religion freedom in this context. You're limiting the children from getting into loving homes just because the potential parents are gay. There are already so many obstacles to a good home, why create another one on a administrative level? I fell down the stairs once as an actor. LadyLuca 2,611
This is sad. I hope most states/countries will keep the progressive law changes. I cant even imagine what it would be like for me in Germany to loose my rights again......So so sad... Also the part with the religious belive is really annoying me. This is exactly what makes people hate religion. Not every beliver is against homosexuality. This is creating hate on both sides. Making circles of revenge until you cant differentiate between enemys. Why cant we all just harmonize.

The majority of citizens in the U.S. support LGBT rights, they just seem to drop the ball every time it comes 'round to make our representatives actually represent what we believe in. I mean, 91% of Americans support tougher gun laws and yet a gun law hasn't been passed in years. At least, a law that makes it tougher to get one. That lazy and willfully ignorant attitude extends to so many issues and it's honestly the biggest problem in this country Whimsical bitch

We stan a Catholic queen, after all. Anger is directed at Christians who claim to stand for "Christian values" but just use religion as a cudgel to attack others.
