It's probably extremely stressful and difficult to talk to angry survivors and families of victims. I imagine I'd get flustered and lose my thoughts. He's only human. Are you reading the notes though? "What would you most want me to know about your experience?" "What can we do to help you feel safe?" "I hear you" Thats like being reminded of common decency. A human that needs reminders of what empathy is supposed to be is a human that doesn’t know what empathy is. He’s only human, that’s correct. I'd just use the notes as a way to make sure I don't forget to ask anything, because I'm sure I'd forget something in the heat of the moment. It doesn't look the best but meh.
