You're literally not even from this country hence you don't understand it. Simple really.

River 116,208
Sorry, I was busy lol I'm not from the UK but in my country the MTV was the UK one (not anymore now it's local..) and we had many other UK music channels, so I was exposed to many UK artists during my life on planet earth. Like So Solid Crew was my thing when I was 15 lol But then I saw bands come and go, singers are gone and the new ones, that many of you mentioned, are just not appealing to me anymore because there's something that just not clicking, like the sound is not the same, you may say, yeah but sound it evolving.. but there is like this signature for the Brit pop that you feel it, no matter what, it's just there.. can't explain that in words lol So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

DiscoStyx 3,355
what about Mika? he's a British-French artist, most of his English music can be considered Brit pop in my opinion EDIT: but if you are from Europe then I totally understand what you mean, British pop music used to be big there but now for ten years or so American pop has dominated it all cause of death: gaga singing along perfect illusion on BBC Radio
RAMROD 109,261
Britpop is dead, for now. And not sure when it will return. The resurgence of streaming might affect this, since people only listened to viral music nowadays. I feel kinda bad over this generation for not having Britpop waves in their lifetime. So far anyway. For my parents, their waves was the original ones, like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Police, Joy Division, The Cure, New Order, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, and so on which many bleeding into my generation. When I grew up, we have Blur, Oasis, Spice Girls, Suede, Pulp, Massive Attack, Portishead, and so on. And when I was teen to young adult, M.I.A, Coldplay, Bloc Party, Arctic Monkey, The Snow Patrol, Keane, and Franz Ferdinand were some of the awesome ones. But what does the current generation have?
