Special Counsel Robert Mueller's office said Friday that a grand jury indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities for alleged interference in the 2016 presidential elections, during which they boosted the candidacy of Donald Trump.

The indictment says that the defendants by early to mid-2016 were "supporting the presidential campaign of then-candidate Donald J. Trump ... and disparaging Hillary Clinton."

The indictment said "the organization," known as the Internet Research Agency LLC, "sought, in part, to conduct what it called 'information warfare against the United States of America' through fictitious U.S. personas on social media platforms and other Internet-based media."

"By in or around May 2014, the organization's strategy included interfering with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, with the stated goal of "spread[ing] distrust towards the candidates and the political system in general," the indictment said.

An announcement from Mueller's office said that the government accuses all the defendants of conspiracy to defraud the United States.

Three defendants are charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud.

Five defendants are charged with aggravated identity theft.

So when do we kick him from his golden thrown for lying to the People.. His affair controversy exploding seems a hell of a lot worse than Bill Clintons affair. He is criticized for his Affiars. Only difference is he had the balls to admit his wrong doing.. Trumps Pathetic excuses are getting childish, he just needs to get gone.. I am no supporter of Pence but at this point im just over the over excessive lying from this rotten old Cheeto in Chief.

Wait hold on.

After millions of dollars spent, you're telling me he found 13 Russian trolls? He can't be serious? Also this:

This is a very nebulous accusation.

"Information warfare"? Really? There is no information war to be had, unless you're trying hide something from the public.

i read the indictment and it was compelling.

these 13 russian players were the big wigs of a company that pushed for bernie sanders, 3rd party democratic candidates, and donald trump. and when it came down to hillary vs. donald they were heavily in donald trump's favor, as well as sowing general discord here and there between the left and the right before and after the election via organized protests and even coordination with real grassroots movements.

all in all, they were VERY anti hillary clinton. they encouraged liberals to vote 3rd party or to not vote at all. they encouraged the right to vote DT. they bought ads on facebook, they had popular social media accounts for the left and the right, they organized rallies both for the left and the right (but mostly for the right), they stole US identities and social security numbers to set up pay pal accounts to give and receive payments from US citizens who believed they were just grassroots organizers, it goes on and on.

from what i read in the indictment, they were operating more heavily in conservative circles than liberal ones, though they were operating in liberal ones too.

the indictment does not go as far as to say there was collusion between russia and donald trump, only to say that US citizens unwittingly spread russian propaganda (like stuff about democratic voter fraud) on twitter or facebook, or unwittingly coordinated with fake personas created by russian players.

i think it's also noteworthy to say that kellyanne conway supposedly retweeted some of this russian propaganda

Also some people for some reason think these 13 were “the big one” and now the investigation is over? We still have a loooooong way to go before this is over
