I'm not trying to speak for anyone, but I would'n't think that African-Americans would think so deeply about that. I mean, at the end of the day, it's a movie about a man fighting villains in a panther costume. Wakanda is a made-up world which was created by the mixing of cultures, like you said. Sigh, always the SJW who’s a problem If you watch interviews of them, they actually explained that they took this move to represent more of the African cultures, fashion, language, etc on the whole than just one or two things that are always portrai as the stereotype when a movie was bout Africa. Wakanda is fictional location so they wanted every Africans can feel represented by doing this.
