She definitely has a unique and powerful voice, and I think in that sense, that makes her distinctive and different from everyone else. It's very theatrical and she naturally has a lot of power in her voice and I think in an age where a lot of female voices are defined by this almost "slurred-deepish-whispery" kind of voice, I think her's definitely stands out. That being said, her ability to sing really almost any enjoy prevents her from being truly distinctive. Because she can sing so many genres like pop, rock, country, folk, jazz, etc. that all have different sounds, for the general public, I think it'd be difficult for them to say confidently "Oh yeah, that's Gaga!" Also because her voice has evolved so much, I don't know if she's really developed that distinct voice yet. I mean, from ARTPOP to now it's been fairly consistent, but if you compare her voice to, say, something from The Fame or The Fame Monster, it's definitely different. Obviously I can't say now if her voice is going to continue to evolve, however, I do believe that the voice she has now will be the voice she'll have for a while. Yeah people thought she sounded like Christina on “Just Dance” a little and definitely on DWUW. Which I can see. But Katy and Madonna? How has Gaga ever sounded like them?
