An increasing number of analysts are warning that Trumps infrastructure goals right now would serve virtually not benefit and will only be throwing away money

For starters the direct effect on jobs will be limited because the unemployment rate is already low. In fact most construction firms now report having a hard time filling all their positions. This means that if the Government hires more construction workers now, it will be competing with the Private sector for labor. It wouldn't be unemployed people finally getting a job, it would be people who already have a job working for the Government fixing roads instead of building a house for a Company for example. Not only will this not help unemployment, but the Private sector could struggle to grow when the Government is taking away their workers

Secondly because few new jobs are created, the ripple effect from higher consumer spending would not be felt

Basically the Government would be throwing away money and creating inflation for everyone without economic benefits.

Instead Analysts suggest waiting until the next economic slowdown when stimulus spending actually has an effect

But Trumps main goal is the economic benefits

Also, this is a decades old problem in the making. Wait 2 or 3 years for the next slowdown and u can pass this bill without economic overheating

Sounds like leadership is disconnected from the needs of the population.

awesome! I love hearing bad things about the presidents plans.

Seriously tho, his plan really is terrible and Nancy Pelosi did a great job explaining why.

Not awesome. It's best he loose presidency another way. Having him loose at all costs isn't worth it

Lol ok.. I just still think it's odd to not want him to be President because he will do bad stuff and then be glad he does something especially bad so he can loose next election

I just think it's too huge a cost. Plus the average joe might not even understand what happens as a result of this
