It wouldn't have changed anything... Tickets went on sale literally a year ago, so if people spent money on travel and accommodation, they didn't do it last week.

I don't understand - just as one mem (his case) posted, would it really matter if she announced the cancellations a week before (if you're really concerned about people booking tickets, hotels, etc)? Wouldn't the fans have bought the ticket, booked the flight, made reservations WAY earlier than a week? Is anyone here really flying in to watch a concert and do everything within a week? Can someone tell me?

If this article is anything to go by then they were CONSIDERING ending the tour early a week before officially announcing it. That doesn't mean it was decided and they can't announce a cancellation if they haven't properly decided to cancel yet

They probably made the dvd to make up for the loss of the canceled tour as well as giving the fans something to remember the tour by

I wonder how bad it was when she was filming Ahs Hotel and doing the CTC tour, if it were like it was now I wonder why they didn’t express it as much as theyre doing now.... 

now with the closure of the Joanne era I’m praying that she takes this time to fully 100% heal.

oh, i just assumed it was medical marijuana to help her in day to day life and cus she says stuff like "lets get stoned in grandpa's car!"

Right, I think she still does it, but I think she’s afraid of over doing it like what happened before.

There are some "fans" here that would seemingly prefer that she get addicted to opiates and power through tours no matter what, even it if means she dies of an overdose of something before she's 50 like MJ or Prince.  Thankfully she has a team around her that cares about her wellbeing and is willing to call a stop no matter how expensive it is.

Fibro has FLARE ups & peaks, they are not predictable. The pain will intensify & it's more likely if under stress
