it was about changing clothes and broken hip

so? she did it very creatively with the big leg filled with flowers and cool smoke effects

if you actually understand the meaning behind her props like the mattress at the start then it might make more sense to you

I understand all you're trying to say and I kinda agree with you, but all those images changing look too try-hard that the whole video became rather cheesy

I think that the ARTPOP backlash affected her in a way much more bigger that what we've seen, and we will never understand. Everything about her changed. One thing is losing your spark as a performer because of age or illness, losing commercial success due to so many years in the industry.

But other thing is changing your ideas, idk how to explain it. Remember when she hated hollywood? Now she's hollywood favorite girl (Golden Globes, Oscars, Vegas). Remember when she said she'd never play safe? Look at Joanne, it's target was the basic GP. Remember when she said she composed for the music/arts, and not for the charts? Look at The Cure. We kinda saw the old Gaga at the Halftime Show, but it was just for 13 minutes. And i'm not talking about outfits, or commercial success, i couldn't care less about it. I'm talking about her soul, her integrity.

I've been thinking for the last couple of days that the Gaga stanning kinda blinded me. I'm seeing things different this days. Not in a bad way, but just from another perspective.

This is so true!

I think that Gaga contradicts with herself a lot, which I justify because she is a very diverse artist in terms of music that she makes, her looks, social contacts etc. However, you have a great point.

I understand your point and it's true. But she was 21 when she started. Now is 31, almost 32. People change their minds in 10 years. Plus 20 to 30 it's a big change.

Gaga used to be a ''New York star'', she didnt give a f*** back then.

Now she's a rich Hollywood star and there's nothing wrong with it. Sometimes I miss the old Gaga but this new gaga is amazing, she cares more about herself.

Tbh, I think that's a lot of the issue. She moved to CA and it completely changed her. I've lived in NYC for the last 4 years, and I'm originally a born and raised Miami girl. And I am *so different* now than I was when I lived in Miami. It's a different lifestyle here, a different attitude you have to adopt. She lost a lot of the NYC spunk--that idgaf attitude.

No she hasn't :saladga:

Y'all just need to let go of the adolescent she was during her early 20s like :triggered:

I saw her live 2 weeks ago and she blew my wig in orbit just like she did 4 years ago with ARTPOP :diane:

So yeah, I'm not forcing myself to stan for a woman who hasn't delivered. Gaga is just an entertainer people, life's not about her.

Then don't. Why are you still here?

Your choices are yours. If you feel you've wasted your time, that's on you. Others choose to spend their time being fans in different ways and that's their right.

What I don't like about this website is the amount of YESMEN and blind fans.

Yes, there are issues. To me, everything has to be rebuilt, really. She needs HITS, she needs songs that GP LOVES. It has been the only and real issue career wise since Born This Way ... I don't think she'll have hits now... even if Millions reasons and The Cure were smooths (and jams of 2016-2017)

No. She needs to stop worrying about GP and be truly free. Not "uh Joanne is me, but in a pop way", but really, completely free from expectations.

Why are we acting as if Gaga's career is over because she isn't wearing Kermit or meat? In all honesty Gaga has done so much in the past year. Amazing things too. Thankfully I don't worry about these things with Gaga. Her career has always been highlighted by her voice, piano skills, willingness to speak out, and being the zig when everyone zags. The JWT interludes alone are some of the most beautiful pieces that Gaga's team has ever done IMO.

We've been seeing a different side of Gaga's creative side lately, but in no way have I made that out to be bad. People clearly weren't here for Joanne and have a very specific definition of what is success and is "peak" career. I don't see it like that.

I see you calling me out. :selena:
