Why didn’t they just postpone the cancelled shows?

I don't think it is possible, these venues have another bookings, she could only have dates in 2019 if she want it to be rescheduled and she is not doing that cos by that time, she is already doing her Vegas shows.

Yeah sure, let's take money from the european fans for the third time :triggered: Honestly not reschedule again the shows is the best decision. @JoanneWorldTour:

1. Rescheduling is probably just as expensive as canceling it

2. People's patience isn't infinite. Not everyone is a die hard fan and not everyone will understand.

3. She must be tired and frustrated and thought it was for the best.

These right here are literally the 3 logical reasons why it was decided from a business perspective to cancel versus reschedule.

Y’all do realize that LG6 is not coming soon, ESPECIALLY because of the new cancellations. If she comes out with new music in the next few months the press will eat her alive and say she played Europe. There might be an apology song ala I Wanta Be With You, but I honestly think that’s tacky as hell. She’s gonna fall off the face of the earth until ASIB.

I dunno. But this is going exactly the same way as the BTWB. She went on hiatus and most of the GP were done with her.

I expect we will be getting Million Reasons part 2 to try and rebuild her reputation again in a couple years.

Okay but no, the GP loves and is supportive of Gaga now. And those who watched 5F2 now understand her pain and her work ethic. After BTW, Gaga was "weird" and unappreciated. It's not exactly the same, this time, we should be grateful. Not saying the fans shouldn't be upset, because they should. Direct your anger towards the condition, not the woman.

I feel bad for all of the fans, you have to, so many people looked forward to this...TWICE. However, this time, Gaga knew her own breaking point rather than waiting till the point she was actually physically breaking like before in 2013. If Gaga had continued this show who knows what could've happened to her health, it would've only made things worse in the long term.

I was wondering this as well, glad you asked it.

I'm guessing it's because they know how much damage this has done and know the ticket sales will be really bad understandbly. People will not want to risk it. It may take some time for them to try these cities again for people to forgive and forget.

Either that, or because the next few months was already booked for LG6 lol

I think the general public is on her side still. And even have sympathy now.

Take a look at that BBC review from Burmingham, they gave it 2/5 and said it wasn't for him. Then he updated it and added:

UPDATE, 3 FEBRUARY 07:45 GMT : I'm extremely sorry to hear that Lady Gaga has had to cancel the rest of her tour because of her ongoing condition and that she is suffering from chronic pain. Although her show didn't quite hit the spot for me, there is no question that she gave 100% of her energy to it. It was just great to have her back and I know she'll be devastated not to be able to perform in front of her hundreds of thousands of fans, 99.9% of whom I'm sure would have given her a thumping five-star review. Get well soon, Gaga.
