She should cancel Las Vegas Residency

For the sake of her health. I'm not sure how long she can pause the residency show in the case of such a situation, but it's really gonna just add on to her list of obligated shows especially if she has to do tours as well. It's really not worth it. :(

I really hope that won’t be the case, but it’s understandable if her team makes that decision. Better to do so now, before tickets go on sale.

No, the grueling schedule and constant hopping from place to place while on a World Tour are completely different from that of a Residency. A residency doesn't require as much as a world tour.

Plus we are talking about a tour that starts in December, and its barely February. I am pretty sure she'll be rested up and ready. I love her

Exactly. The scattered vegas dates is PERFECT for her and her condition.

Yeah, I'm hoping that staying in one place is actually good for her.

The Residency is clearly put in place to accommodate her pain. If she decides to cancel it, totally understandable, but it seems to me that it’s obvious Vegas was a specific decision based on her medical condition.

That would imply that she should stop doing tours all together, which means she cannot perform for other countries. I'm not really sure how that would be received.

They just have to be very smart with how they do the dates, not too many in a row at a time

No, unlike touring she’ll be in one place where she could receive attention from her medical team easily. It’s a 70 show with a 2 year commitment that could be easily spread out and adjusted so that she can do a few shows and then take a steady break while she treats her pain.

It will be, because from what I've read and studied and from asking my own personal doctor, what usually triggers chronic pain/fibromyalgia is either jet lag, extensive repetitive movement and grueling stress/demands

no. she wont have to fly all over there world and the dates will be much more flexible

her shitty health is the reason why she chose to do it

its the best option at this point

Frankenstein

The residency IS happening because of her health condition. It costs way less to cancel or reschedule shows in one static venue than it does for a world tour.

Sadly, the state of her health is causing her career to switch into almost retirement mode.

She has 75-100 dates that are spread out throughout the course of a two year period. I am pretty sure with what she told us in her own personal statement, that its pretty much confirmed that they plan on making use of some of her gap periods in between legs of the residency tour dates. She'll more than likely do one off stadium tour dates for these shows. The demand will be there and their won't be such an extensive amount of hard travelling and body related stress/hardship on herself.

I think it'll be better for her to do less shows in general. Wouldn't it be better if she just do those short one off stadium tour dates?
