SpadesToStart 3,444
I'm guessing Gaga's pain was a big motivator for her Vegas residency. Hopefully removing the stress of constant travel will allow her to perform without having pain relapses.
Cavadour 2,348
Drying my tears and skimming suggestions in previous posts here I got this idea to make the best of my hotel booking next week in Gaga-less Zurich. Did you plan to be there too ? Do you have some musical skills ? Do you play any (portable) instrument or sing ? We could meet there to have a ball, play and record a nice sing-along cover of some Gaga song. Anyway, this message is just aimed at anybody who'd be happy to share something nice to send and support her. As accordion player / entertainer, I've already added some LG songs to my repertoire. Yes, I can do it alone. But where is the fun if we could team up… Come on, lets have good cry and take heart ! If this proposition rubs you up the right way, just PM me. Since I planned my trip as comfy as possible, my accomodation in ZH is booked for two nights so I can make myself available there on Sat 10 already. Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

Mich 397
I’m sure some of you will try to drag me for this comment, but this is so unprofessional of her to do i doubt I’ll ever attempt at getting a ticket for one of her shows ever again. She knows her condition more than any of us and should know her limitations by this point...there are THOUSANDS of fans who have spent hundreds of dollars to try to see one of her upcoming shows and all they’re going to receive at this point is a “sorry about it” and the hassle of trying to convince hotels, airlines, etc of why they should receive their money back. If she was feeling this beat down she should have cancelled her Grammy performance and layed low to recover. Just makes me sad...obviously i feel bad for her and her condition but at this point this is straight up unprofessional and she shouldn’t be going on tour if she can’t commit. LDGA 1,260
I am really sad, one of the most dedicated artist of the industry, an icon, a person who works so much on her music, a person who put on each album a little piece of her heart, a person who refuse to perform with playback, a person who refuse to use autotune in her songs, a person who does not only sing live, but make her band play the instruments lives, a person who i love so much, is passing trought this i feel bad, i can not imagine how must Gaga be right now but kind of remember that part of 5F2 where she is in pain and crying and she said " i am pathetic", i jsut hope sometime the future shine for Gaga again, hope the science can find a cure for her illness or at least make her fell better. In other hands, i just think of the hundreds of fans, that saved money for seeing her and could not go, i feel bad for them too. This is really a dark day for the fanbase. Saying someone's unprofessional because of their disability is kinda yikes, but even more so is the implication that she should stop doing what she loves because its hurting others. She didn't go on tour thinking she'd have to cancel it. Her team isn't dumb-they all legitimately thought she could finish up the tour. When it became apparent she couldn't, they changed it to try to ensure that she could. But disabilities don't play fair, and there are so many variables that go into play with managing them. It might have gone off without a hitch if it was shifted three months later, or three months earlier, for that matter. That woman fought SO hard for us-she pushed herself to go to the grammys, she changed her shoes, she filmed in case she couldn't keep going. That's far from unprofessional? Spend your money however you want, but personally I wouldn't let this disway me from buying tickets for vegas. freebit 6,240
I worried about her future as a touring performer after Rio, but her resuming the tour and bringing the fire in her performances laid my worries to rest. Now this. I feel horrible for her, and that this pain is her new normal, without end, and affecting things she loves to do. She's an amazing live performer and its incredibly unfair. Her great live performances, and the fact that she can do it all (sing, dance, play the piano) are a part of who she is as an artist. She can still probably do it all in a limited capacity, but I have my doubts she'll be able to do a traditional tour much without sacrificing choreo, or extensively even with just her voice & the piano since traveling is hard on the body. Ultimately she's an artist and nothing can stop that - one thing that can't be taken away from her because of this is her being able to write and sing. Maybe she could put most of her focus into albums/EP's and music videos in lieu of extensively touring. Maybe she can do a residency city by city in a longer time frame so she can recuperate more easily. There are many creative ways she work it out that's only if she decides she wants to tour. And I really hate this attitude by some "fans" who act like like she's a broken object now instead of a human being. I always forget how cruel and inhumanly flippant people can be. Great, you can't brandish her tour receipts around like a dumbass to other idiots on pop forums anymore, and therefore she is "over." How terrible for you guys. I've been pretty enraged by some of the comments I've seen on the forum in the past 24 hours. She's literally destroying her body so she can perform for fans, and all so many of them can do is bitch and moan and say it's not enough.
