Season 3 American Idol Contestant and NBA Husband Die in Car Crash

Sad. 

Leah Labelle, who was a contestant on the third season of American Idol (Fantasia's season), died in a car accident this morning. 

Her husband Rasual Butler was also in the car and died. He was a former NBA player who played for the Miami Heat, New Orleans Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Washington Wizards and San Antonio Spurs. His professional career lasted from 2002 to 2016.

According to Los Angeles police, at around 2:30 a.m., an SUV carrying two people was traveling down the 11200 block of Ventura Boulevard when it lost control, hit three parking meters and a retaining wall and landed in the parking lot of a strip mall which contains several businesses, including a Marshalls.

Car accidents scare tf out of me. My anxiety sometimes acts up when I drive because I sometimes get paranoid that I’ll lose control of my truck or that someone else will ram into me
