Does anyone else (anyone) agree that American Life is Madonna's best album? I mean, out of all my favorite singers, American Life is the most heart-felt, sincere, beautiful album I have ever heard. I really wish I could've gone to the Re-Invention Tour. :/ EVERY song from that album is perfect (including I'm So Stupid).

its always been mine

I can't believe she never sang Love Profusion live. EVER.

the whole ROL-Music-AL era :legend: those three are my favorite albums

She should do an Anti-Tour like Kylie Monigue and include Love Profusion, Fighting Spirit, Falling Free, Easy Ride, Intervention, etc.

BTW question: do any of you guys have Madonna songs you have cried about? I'm making a playlist with her most emotional songs, but I'm quite picky about that so I want to hear other people's opinion...

The only songs that have made me actually cry are Nothing Fails, Love Profusion, Intervention, X-Static Process, American Life and Masterpiece lol.

Am I blind or did you leave out the best song from the concert (Masterpiece)? I don't know about other gigs, but at Hyde Park so many people nearby were almost crying during this song lol.

Who's That Girl would be ****ing amazing though. Great song.

But wtf @ Like A Prayer going into Gang Bang? Totally different atmosphere, costume, performance, background set, etc...

I figured since the interlude was Virgin Mary religious it should start with a religious song but Knowing Madonna I would think she would have some how twisted the song to fit it into Gang Bang...

Are you kidding me :eww:

I wouldve paid the 200 dollars (and MORE) to see madonna THAT close. It may not have been as long as the usual show but still, thats why tickets were cheaper too.

I can't help but feel the same. Out of any MDNA stop, this would face been the most exciting/memorable. :legend:

I don't care that it was 45 min, u don't often get a chance to be that cozy with Madonna. :nacho:

U watch, I'll be back b---hin about her for something in the next few days. That's how our relationship is. :nails:

Ha! I'm in a love hate relationship with her too, that's why it's going to be eternal.^^

I dont know. I still think this "backlash" pales in comparison compared to her Erotica/Sex book era.

Hmm, I would say this era is a little worse because of the degrading ageism factor and the fully established hate spreading ways of the www. Seriously, it's ridiculous these days. And not only with Madonna but with every successful artist out there.

Madonna hasn't found a way to use social media or the internet to her advantage. Speaking though Liz Rosenberg or her manager while Gaga speaks directly to her fans though tweets and chats, and viral videos propel Call Me Maybe into a long-running #1 song.

What do you guys think of Liz? She's even older than Madonna, and still doing publicity like it was the 80s. Madonna's fans shot the video and tweeted the story of her debacle in Paris, then Liz's damage control via a press release seems very late and irrelevant.

Apparently Liz has a reputation for lying to and bullying the press, which may have soured a few media opinions.

What do you guys think of Liz?

I used to think of her mainly as a pathological liar. I was always amazed by how often Madonna would contradict her. But I started liking her more after she praised Gaga and started wearing those funny headpieces. :haha:
