Be grateful she sacrificed a lot of her commercial success to be an advocate for LGBT rights and generate conversation about online bullying and mental illness when NO one else in the industry dared to.

SCHEISSEMONTRE

It makes sense. After the MV of Alejandro, it started to take a turn for the worst. Then once BTW (Single) came out everyone said it sounds like Express Yourself, by Madge and then the MV came out (when I first saw the MV for BTW, I literally had nightmares about the symbolic stuff in the MV), anyway, people didn’t like it and said it was weird and creepy. Born This Way was in the middle of Almost ruining her career and not......Until Judas became a single and that’s when the BTW era when an became Scheiße. So In Conclusion, the culprit of this is Alejandro.

this. How can anybody say it ruined her? Maybe it affected her negatively commercial-wise, but it's an enormous statement in music. I'm glad BTW happened, for it's message and music.

It was her last big daring project. I wish she had the nerves again to do something good without thinking about GP opinion.

The fanbase on itself isnt enough to keep her afloat to the commercially succesful levels that her label may need. No support from the GP means no hits and less resources for the development of  her eras.

Her downfall here started after You and I I belie:triggered: ve

Barely anyone knows what happened to her after that until Applause and then Million Reasons

There’s a bit of truth here, he was just everywhere and it did reach its peak with BTW single. I remember BTW came out during the Facebook game rush peak, and Zynga had a collaboration with her that put her everywhere on these games aswell. She was inescapable.

I know what you mean. Yesterday Me and my friend were talking about Gaga, he’s a fan but not a psycho monster like us :hor: He said the same, BTW album kinda killed it.

I stopped reading at ''gaga's decline''. I really don't understand what do you all want. She didn't win a grammy and now her career is shooting to ****? She played the ****ing halftime what nail in the coffin are you talking about? She always had haters, and always will have. I really don't get what are you expecting of her. You want everybody to love her or what? I don't get it? Her career has worked out the way it did, she's still here, she's releasing albums, shooting videos, touring, she's still getting nominations if that's what you care about, she's still charting if that's what you care about. For all we know she could be sitting on the next BR.  It just happened to be that she's not as major as she was when she was a new act. BTW maybe the reason for people starting to get sick of her but oh well, it had a cultural impact that you rarely see in pop music. Nothing, however, ''ruined her'', but rather made her the artist that she is today. Be grateful.
