We absolutely deserved to see Gaga holding her Grammys last night but unfortunately things didn't work in our favor. I found myself feeling very down over this even though it's just a Grammy.. right? Gaga and her artistry is not determined by the number of her Grammys. And I hope you all know Gaga is well aware of the fact now in her career as well. We have to also try to not lash at other people and blame artists who won. You might not think they deserved it but somebody thought so. And dwelling in hatred will only make you feel worse. Let's ask ourselves.. What do we want more? A. An album full of original Pop Bops. B. A second Jazz cover album with Tony so Gaga can secure a Grammy. We'll love the crap out of both albums but I honestly I'm happy with Gaga going with whatever vibe makes her happy. And if you're still feeling sad and down just remember.. Music not the Bling. If she would do music just for awards she would quickly loose her will continue with music, it has to come from her heart, if she wins awards for that then great, if she doesn't then it's still not a loss, why? because that music came from her heart, sharing something that comes from within you with the world is an incredible thing and that means more (to me) than a just a bop. The video for Joanne almost made me cry when she said "call me joanne, xo, joanne, xoxo, joanne...". It literally broke my heart. Idk, I guess deep down I knew that this just wasn't going to be her time to win, I think if she plays her cards right, LG6 will win her 7th Grammy. I know we’re all about the “music not the bling” but Gaga really needs a bit hit to stay relevant. Just look at her youtube views, Gaga deserved to win the Grammies tonight but I think the GP are over listening to her sing about her aunt she never met.
