Is Gaga Over?

I know basically Lady Gaga has become a household name and such. Her songs are still being played in public up to now. Just Dance, Poker Face, etc.

But recently, Gaga is getting less and less opportunity to reach out to the public.

What do you think? Can Gaga still catch up to her success when she first came out?

Besides us, will the non-fans be hook with her upcoming music?

Are here little monsters the only people left caring about her?

Is Gaga over?

No. The GP's respect for her is at an all time high and she's at the point in her career where if she has more hits, great, but if not, she will still be respected and will keep making music that people (other than LMs) will buy and will go to concerts in stadiums to see her. :) The fact that JWT is so successful despite Joanne not being a commercial album is indicative of that.

Gaga is over trying to please everybody. She's writing music and doing things for herself and her true fans and as long as she's happy, that's all I care about.

She can be over the moon or over the rainbow but her career is not over!:staymad:

She is no longer getting hits like her PF or BR days but there is no need. I think half of this site agrees that ageism exists everywhere so her hitting 30 means that radio or Spotify won’t push her as much as Camila or Selena. However her legacy alone and few moderate hits per era can sustain her career. I mean look at Madonna.

And to add to that, respect and popularity are seperate

Someone can be disliked by 70% of people but loved by 30% and get enough support for hits and being popular etc

On the other hand an old legend can be liked and respected by 90% of people but not enough ppl are hyped enough by them to support them even though they respect them

People who are liked can still struggle to compete with new artists with more hype around them

On the bright side legends careers never totally die. They will always have interested ones to attend their tours and their names are not forgotten

I don't know if Gaga's commercial success hits wise is over for good or if she will still have a run at more hits that depends on several factors

But unless she does something really stupid to destroy her image and career, she has a name and a career to support her the rest of her life. She'll never go hungry or totally forgotten in her lifetime now!

Think of Celine Dion, Elton John, Madonna, U2 etc... Realistically they are super unlikely to ever have another hit but they will rake in millions annually for life just because of the legend status they earned. Even if Gaga's isn't at their level yet, she's high enough to have a career for life!

If she plan a good era with videos and promo and return with a good, GP basic bop she can have another #1, the fact is that ppl were already tired of her in the ARTPOP era and she was getting stupid hate she didnt deserved and in her pop "comeback" with Joanne, her lead PI was never promoted and the song was too hard to digest by the GP, lets see what she peaks as lead for the next era

Sis even people like Katy playing to half empty arenas arent over.

Also the way Joanne the single is performing isnt indicative of someone’s who is over. Yeah its not performing like Drake, Beyonce, or Ed Sheeran songs but shes not on their level of success. You guys get the notion that shes over because shes not massive anymore.

She’s still one of the biggest artists if her 5th album get still push a million units in the states and her 5th tour can bring her to stadiums for the first time.

Stop looking for Adele like success in her and you’ll see that her current status is a great place to be in. Not the best place but not a bad one.

No. :rip: She still has an incredibly successful career 10 years after her debut. How many artists can say that? She’s not going anywhere and is far from over.
