Praying is a better song than Million Reasons

sorry but its true

if it wins some little monsters will say its cuz of the Dr. Luke situation, to make them feel better, but that's just not the case

As for the album....i i think Joanne is a tad better than Rainbow, even though Rainbow served me more bops.

I can relate bc I love her as much as I love Gaga.  Even though I low-key liked Rainbow better than Joanne, I would love if Kesha could take home the Grammy for Praying and Gaga could take the one for Joanne.

Her songs are amazing but entire album Rainbow had inspirations from Joanne and Till It Happens To You(Praying).. She has chance for a Grammy, but Joanne and Million Reasons way better than the others :trollga:

The critics disagree :trollga:

I love Rainbow but Joanne IMO is a more cohesive/timeless piece of work in comparison.

I agree that this is her strongest album so far BUT I want Joanne to win Pop Album. I wouldn't mind seeing Kesha take Pop Performance for Praying over Million Reasons though.

I think Kesha should win pop solo performance and Gaga should win pop vocal album. It would be good for the Grammys' image too because it would make woman shine on a night where mostly men are nominated.... and with today's social climate, they're gonna need some female winners.

Kesha's Praying was also much more of radio hit than MR tbh. But Gaga's Joanne was much more popular than Kesha's rainbow. Not that numbers are everything, but I think that this will influence the voters...

... and nobody really cares about eddy and is copycat music. :lolga:

This album has only one good song (Praying). I don't see it as a fully developed concept. Joanne deserves it more.

I think Praying is the strongest song out of the nominees, so I'd say yes. Especially for that high note (she doesn't hit it live, but I'm sure she'll make an exception for her Grammy performance). I really want her to take that specific prize and leave the best album for Gaga, though, it's only fair. Rainbow may have been better received by critics but I don't think it was quite as amazing as they made out. Joanne, however, was underrated and really needs to win in a show of delayed praise from critics. If she'd maybe done the SB before its release and had made MR the lead single, well, the album might have had better reception. I hope the academy feels the same.

Unfortunately Ed will win this. I really don't like him tho.

I wouldn't be so sure. Kesha and Gaga are actually performing, Ed isn't. Kesha and Gaga actually have good vocals in their songs, Ed doesn't and he's the only nominee who doesn't have an amazing voice. Kesha's going to performing Praying in light of the #MeToo movement, which the Grammys may well want to show support for and Gaga had a magic moment when she performed MR at the SB but Ed doesn't have anything going for him, emotion-wise. And also, Ed's shockingly locked out of all the major categories despite having the second-biggest song of the year, worldwide. And the rumours are strong that he's not even going to attend. So...2 nominations despite being the biggest world artist last year, locked out of the major categories, not one of the announced performers and supposedly not even attending. With all this is mind, he should be out of the running.
