WOW Katy DID THAT I'm truly shook I never thought I would enjoy a Katy Perry concert like I did ! She put on an excellent show and the GP coming back from it will 100% have a great opinion about her (something Gaga could've pulled off even better and taken advantage of even more) Witness is her best album don't @ me. However one thing I noticed is that all the audience was composed by the GP and I've never seen that kind of contrast in the reactions in the audience between singles and non-singles. Like I've been to mannyyyyy concerts and never the crowd had so contrasted reactions to singles and non-singles song. I assume this is because 99% of the people going there were members of the GP thus they didn't know anything about the great bangers that are Roulette or Déjà Vu and that's unfortunate. It's quite the opposite than Gaga eventually, and I feel like Gaga is winning this because everyone comes to her show knowing everything. Also the audience was pretty dead/silent for a certain reason (I was like 'poor katy keep going you're doing great') The setlist was mainly made around singles, so her team knows that she attracts more GP than fans Also surprised at the huge rate of masculine men in their 30's ! It's really sad for her that it's her flop era because I honestly think it's her best in terms of quality. However I got so many moments where I gasped at how much she copied Gaga. EVERY SINGLE LOOK is inspired from Gaga : the red hood / the telephone MV opening / the Louvre wig and grey outfit and many more. Also the themes are also soooo ARTPOP inspired : space / rebellion / freedom / optical illusions (ARTPOP's back cover) and much more... But overall it's an awesome concert and I hope she keeps making them that great ! My mom, my sister and I were the only ones standing and dancing at moment and she pointed at us saying 'I see you !!' Top thirty floors have been transformed into thirty-three luxury condominium residences atop this celebrated New York City landmark. I wonder if she's shopping the real estate...
