It was the radio premiere and it was, like, 5 AM in my country. But guess who was screaming the hell outta his lungs IT WASN'T LOVE a couple of hourse later? ME. I remember I was super excited on its release day and downloaded iHeartRadio app to hear its premiere (I think I was listening to the Atlanta station) and boi... I was completely underwhelmed. I immediately knew very few people were gonna like it. I pretty much saw its horrible chart performance coming after like 5 minutes of its release and I remember thinking, “wow, she must either really really really like this song or she’s just out of touch with reality.” Over a year later I still think it’s her worst lead and one of her worst singles.
