There's various articles about her home life, how people treated her and took advantage of her, her stays in mental asylums, her struggle with drugs and alcohol, being more aware than people credit her to be and the last few months up until her death as well. Her on going endometriosis and internal problems kept her from carrying a child to full term. She did have an abortion however, because she had an ectopic pregnancy which would cause Marilyn to die if she carried on with it. In the later years, she was pregnant with Arthur Miller’s child during the making of Some Like it Hot, but again, her endometriosis caused her to have a miscarriage.
