DIC is CLEARLY indian inspired. she literally uses a sitar and uses Indian music patterns as well as tribal mini screams (those faint monkey sounding screams in the background). It is the furthest thing from bluegrass EDM. The only bluegrass/country EDM sounding songs I can think of as comparable are MAYBE Devil PRay by Madonna and maybe Meant To Be by Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line. DIC is heavenly exotic music. Do not compare it to EDM bluegrass por favor :triggered:

Heh yeah. People here clearly have never listened to bluegrass.

For some reason I get Australian vibes from DiC. No idea why. It needs a didgeridoo.

Exactly! Gaga infact said it herself, that the song had Indian influences in that Zane Lowe interview :gaycat:

I'm not very good with Social Mediaᵀᴹ

I just love the fact that DiC is a chameleon of genres. :ladyhaha:

When released it was country. Then it became tropical influenced. Then it became bluegrass influenced with some indian infusion.. like literally...:icega: :toofunny:

THANK YOU. Everyone says it’s so trop-house, but it isn’t remotely. It sounds more like her Indian remixes for BTW lol the instrumental is so Indian-influenced and tbh that’s probably a lot to do with Beck having a hand in the writing as he dabbled in lots of disparate influences (Colors has a ton).

This! No The Cure basicness Gaga! Thank you! I'll just pray she ditches DJWS unless he has something new and interesting to give.

Don't you dare to associate The Cure with the word basic. The Cure has the sound that has brought all us together here and also The Cure >>>all the joanne songs that some of the people here praise so much as if nobody else had ever released a "personal" album like this and this was the best album ever.

Imagine country but taken up to 1000 :poot:

Oh HELL NOOOOOO. This B*tch can rot in hell if she releases anything even remotely similar to this. :fthis:

Have the gays not suffered enough? :selena:

Update: That YouTube video called me a f***** and told me to kiss them while they churned butter.  :cryga:

Update #2: That YouTube video told me they are willing to leave their cousin so we can be together in unholy f***** matrimony.  :trollga:

Update #3: It’s 2am and we’re in love. The YouTube video asked me to run away with them but I’m scared that they’ll change their mind because...I’m pregnant. :saladga:

If you like tropical house or whatever it's called that's ok. But to say TC is better than Diamond Heart, Million Reasons, John Wayne etc is just pure delusion, you can not like it but in terms of sound there's no doubt which one is better. #sorrynotsorry

Usually when I hear about rumors they either seem completely unlikely or something not even exciting, but for some reason these titles have me really hopeful. :excited2:

Do or Die is such a great title!! It’s one of the most lead single, epic sounding titles I’ve ever heard without sounding try-hard. Sounds like a banger waiting to happen. I really wish this is true  GAGA is coming for BLOOD :firega:
