He admitted to trying to sleep with her in an interview. We know he's at the very least tried to sleep with a 17 y.o. when he was in his mid/late 30's and, quite frankly, if it's not illegal it should be. At the absolute minimum he is a predatory creep. The moral reason why adults going after teenagers is so gross (the aesthetics are gross to but that's not why it's illegal) is the difference in maturity levels and the amount of power they would have in the relationship. The differences between 17 and 24 are there and tbh they do bother me (tbh as a 23 yo I wouldn't date anyone younger than 21), but they can potentially be overcome by the right people in the right circumstances. The difference between an average 17 yo and a 30-something celebrity insurmountable. He could destroy her life without her even knowing he'd done anything, meanwhile she has offered definitive proof of him being a predatory goblin and he has people publicly defending him and is able to defend himself on national television, and even if he never finds work again he will be able to live a luxurious and happy life. Meanwhile, his victims are almost certainly being swarmed and harassed by his fans, something that often result in the victims having to completely restructure their lives.
