I have to rewatch this later because I can only hear the one teacher speaking but from what I can tell good for her, teachers are extremely underpaid and she seemed to be respectful when talking on the subject. I’ll never understand why teachers don’t get more raises but I guess that’s America for you. Questioning actions makes you a criminal I guess.

Dude, teachers always get the **** end. They gotta deal with kids who disrespect them on the daily, parents who are overly accusatory and bash them for their kids' failure, they get zero help from the board of education, they have to pay for supplies out of their own pockets because they get no aid from anyone and parents flip **** if they ask them to buy supplies to help the classroom when nobody's got money (and if the tax bill goes through THEY CAN'T CLAIM THAT ON TAXES SO THEY CAN'T EVER GET REIMBURSED), they have to do these ridiculous common core lessons where they can't deviate from so kids are left behind to fail if they don't understand...... not to mention the many hours correcting papers, writing lesson plans just to make a living and majority of them want to genuinely teach kids but this stuff discourages to no end. It's a corrupt system.

And these "administrators" get paid 6 figures just to sit there and look important. Some don't even go into the schools to see what's really happening.

Teachers need all the help they can get and it's bullshit how the higher ups get all these raises when the kids are hurting. It's even more bullshit that they put this woman in cuffs for saying what was on everyone's minds. It's a sin.
