If anything I think the album version got a little more edm-esque-basic in the chorus than the itunes festival version unfortunately but i wouldnt call it muddy. Like muddy to me would be...jewels n drugs where its like a mess that sounds like a bad demo that shouldve never seen the light of day (why monsters love djws so much and why he thinks hes pro at trap beats is beyond me) I find a lot of ARTPOP to be muddy. It just doesn't have a super clean production on some of the songs. But I like majority of the album, just not my favorite production for every song.
