Who cares about being a streaming force when you're a touring force (that's where you get money), have sold million of albums, have multiple Grammys and awards. It's pointless.

Hopefully that BloodPop song comes out really soon and fixes some things here and there :unicorn:

There is an element of strategy to help boost streams, but in general the younger audience are the people who stream the most. Promo will only get you do far. And Million Reasons is relatable but not trendy.

That's what I'm saying. It will open her up to a younger audience. Promo will help with that. There are plenty of songs that aren't relatable in spotify to younger audiences and they still succeed because people hear it, like it, stream it.

Personally I don't think being relatable is more important than people actually  hearing the song more.

All she needs is a true bonafied smash to increase her streaming presence. And I don't mean like...Million Reasons or Applause I mean like a Just Dance or even Telephone sized smash, because then through that songs popularity people will then revisit her other songs and her streaming will boost effortlessly. She just needs that one hit to re-breakthrough honestly. She hasn't had a legitimate, inarguable smash since The Fame Monster or I guess technically Born This Way (single).

She was the most viewed people on Youtube... She was a enormous streaming force because back at this day it was literally MASSIVE to surpass 1 billion views. She was the PIONEER of the streaming.

First, she needs to come back to minstrean and Pop Dance music like she did in 2010.

Here's to our brand new start, I won't be waiting for nothing. I'll mend the broken parts. Pick up the pieces,

The Cure went Platinum with zero promo and Million Reasons went Platinum pure sales.

I'd say we do.

Imagine she released a Bad Romance-level track instead of The Cure at Coachella :wtfga: if TC did that much maybe it would’ve went #1 :hor:

I doubt she’ll be like Rihanna or some of the younger stars. I think she can definitely get a streaming artist, but she hardly ever does collaborations on others tracks to maintain the spotlight which is going to be a weak point if she’s looking to be a constant presence. I’m not saying she should or shouldn’t be, but just that if she wants to be a really juggernaut streaming force I think she’d have to hop on others’ tracks more often. But she can still find success in streaming regardless.

personally, I like her approach to collabs now and so it doesn’t bother me but for chart fans I think that’d have to be her plan.
