Yeah I recommend you a MBP. Like, just getting out of the box I could FEEL the quality, if that makes any sense. One thing that sucks is its user's interface. MAC is wayyy more confusing to use than a Windows, but other than that I'm glad I switched.

Kidding aside, I always get anxiety over this, but there will always be leaks and loopholes, and unfortunately the most ordinary people can do is keep their software updated and hope for the best, coz even our passwords are really just there to give us the illusion of security, and to keep other normal people out

Samsung manufactures their mobile processors, but they use ARM processor licenses for their smartphones and tablets. ARM also has Spectre and Meltdown issues.
