Highly doubt it. Seems like she just spoke (or acted) too soon without the information necessary to make a better decision, probably under excessive pressure from higher ups (and people) that she has not had to deal with before as a performer. Don't blame her, doesn't make her an anti-semite. 

As to the discrepancy with going to other countries that violate human rights, promote inequality, etc. I doubt she's thinking about it. There's also just not as much public decry in the current social consciousness about places like Russia. It's not on the top of everyone's head RN, so she and her team (or whoever organize her tour) were probably not under as much pressure to re-examine such a show. This was opportune timing because of Trump and the refocused lens on the issues between Israel & Palestine.

I don't think its fair to attribute this discrepancy, hypocrisy, whatever you wish to call it to blatant and direct bigotry... or even to assume this position based on her inaction. For all we know, she's certainly heard the criticism and thought about it but isn't really able to do much about it  There are really quite a few unethical practices involving people in many of the countries that pop artists regularly tour at and visit,which to me is just another sign that her response was motivated by the intense scrutiny of the moment surrounding this particular incident, not an active or even passive act of bigotry. - Unless you are going to argue that any kind of inaction in these situations is violence of its own, which I don't necessarily disagree with. It just makes the focus on Lorde the individual circumstantial and unwarranted. It makes the problem larger than her

this rabbi is a right wing asshat and lorde's decision was her own to make regarding israel's continued controversies. when you must consider war-crimes in nations that are largely ignored by the western world, of course it isn't going to be a popular decision. She is an artist who is free to take her show or not take her show anywhere she sees fit.

Trump hasn't meddle with Russia publicly like he did with Israel though. And, no where was i supporting her decision. I have denounced her for doing so in a thread earlier last week.

I agree. Why doesn't she cancel her shows in other nations like Russia? Why hold the Jewish people to a different standard than other countries? Israel is a very accepting nation that has Universal Healthcare and holds LGBT Pride Parades, unlike other countries. I like her music so it is sad to see her bigotry show, disappointed in her

Israel left Palestine in 2005, abandoned every single settlement in Gaza, but Palestine began to shoot missiles into Israel so they came back in. Let’s not forget that before cancelling the show she had the entire world media attacking her from all different sides, she and her team were under a huge amount of pressure, and so they made a decision. It’s impossible to say right now whether it was the right one, but it’s obvious she’s not a bigot.

Lorde’s only 21, and it was cruel of the media to place so much pressure on her when she barely knows anything about the conflict.
