The latest uphill battle for the pop star? Fans have found undeniable evidence to suggest one of the record's tracks, "Bigger Than Me," has an uncanny resemblance to a song named "Lampa i sofa" by Polish singer Ania Wyszkoni off her 2009 record Pan i pani.

If you are still unsure of it all, a user on ATRL mashed both tracks on top of each other.

To be fair there has been so many songs where a big artist is accused of ripping off some local foreign artist. Even Gaga had that happen to her. The thing is, I doubt these big artists have ever even heard the name of these local flops let alone the song they supposedly ripped off. Using a local flop as inspiration for music you want to sound commercial and trendy is quite counterintuitive.

OMG it's the same exact song! Melody, vocals... sounds really the same :air: And what makes me angry is that katy perry won't receive not even 1% of the backlash Gaga got for BTW/Express Yourself (Still don't hear any similarity between these two)

There are only so many melodies and chord progressions. I feel like every song has a doppelganger at this point. It's inevitable after so many years of music.

Omg that was my jam from that album :emma: I lost my voice to that chorus a few times already

EDIT: if the similarities end at the notes they both hit in the chorus, then this thread is cancelledt :madge:
