I love Taylor and listen to her, but Britney was on the next level in the 00s, Taylor is not even close. I mean everytime Britney stepped out of her house, released music, or went to perform it was an event. Also Britney is a WW Superstar and is having hits all around the globe, Taylor is kinda local.

Like it or not, Taylor is a textbook modern day popstar. She has the buzz, the hype, the hit music all wrapped in one nicely sold package. She is manufactured and it's going great for her, because that's what she is, a pure pop star and she does everything perfect for what she wants to achieve with her success. 

She's never going to take risks, she's going to keep doing what she's always been doing and I'm totally fine with that, because I understand who she is, a POP star who makes pop music to mindlessly bop to. 

Nobody is saying she's better than Gaga or even comparing her to Gaga because they aren't even in the same league. Gaga is more than just pure entertainment pop and she has always been that way.

Girl, unless you live under a rock. Rap music is Popular music atm. 

Pop music does not necessarily stick to one genre every year it's diverse, from rock to r&b.

ARTPOP's concept was very clear. It was about combining artistic conception with pop music (though I personally think she wanted to go down a more experimental route with the music itself but was unable to for reasons).

To compare any of Taylor Swift's albums with ARTPOP would be a joke. Taylor just sings about boys and living in the 1980s. At least Gaga has always had concept.

That she executed very porly. What's the point of having a good concept if you can't execute it?
