With Gaga now is just disappointment after disappointment and this Vegas residency is the final nail in the coffin.

That's not really true... Gaga's fanbase has been shrinking and shrinking, and is far from recovering. She has the SuperBowl boost, but now it's gone. There's nowhere to go from here, but down.

Gaga gave the best Half Time show of all time, a movie, FULL SOUNDTRACK for the movie, coachella, vsfs. I don’t even know how these count as DISAPPOINTMENTS, but whatever grinds your gears. Can say I’m happy you’re leaving, more room for the appreciative fans.

Lose the hyperbole. None of that was groundbreaking, just good career moves.

Being an appreciative fan doesn't mean to be blind to everything she does. This is bad. There's no way around it. 

If things continue as they are, the only appreciative fans at the Lady Gaga party will be you and few more handful of people. Enjoy.

You’re completely delusional if you think that the Superbowl was anything less than groundbreaking. And idk how you can judge the show, without hearing or seeing any information about it before hand. This is PI 2.0 all over again, everyone bitched about how she changed and how they wanted the “old gaga” back, yet most of them came back. 

You are not part of her team, you don’t know anything abouth her further carreer plans, so I would most friendly advise you to keep an open mind. No one knows what she has in store for the future.

just think about it. She can stay in one place while taking a semi-break. She can work on her album and she can do whatever she can and wants to do! She's definitely gonna have more time and dates to change the show

It's good for Her at least to maybe keep her pain in check and good for us because we can all have time to see her, if we have to save we know where she'll be. 

For her I think it's a great idea.

I vote no. However, I'm not gonna have a meltdown like some of the others. I'll wait to see how it goes. I don't want this because I do think residencies are for "retiring" acts. And being a fan of hers, it's hard to hear people say refer to her as irrelevant or has been etc.

However, if she is still able to have a thriving commercial career (hit singles, #1 albums, world tours, music videos, Grammys, movies) then she could potentially be the first of her kind. People credit Britney with being the first young and relevant act to do it. But Gaga would be the first young and relevant act to do AND STILL REMAIN relevant and current.

Basically if this  doesn't affect her commercial status negatively then I won't mind it at all.

Of course, if all of this is for her health and personal life, then who are we to complain. But if they think it's to benefit her career, I remain skeptical.
