I imagine the residency similar to the Roseland ballroom shows, and that was fantastic. I don’t understand the hate.

Not here for it. If that's what she wants she should of course do it, but I'll miss the international pop star :sis:

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

No because it will get boring after a few shows and she should be spending her time doing other promo

I don’t care to be honest :laughga: I won’t be able to go and unless she releases new material during that period, I’ll carry on following other artists.

I didn't even think about this

It'll probably not be to promote any one project so she could perform singles or b-sides from any album along with unreleased or new music

Are we going to get a I Like it Rough / Sexxx Dreams medley?!

Is Summerboy going to slay the desert?!

Will ARTPOP get the love it deserves?!!:giveup:

Imagine the ballads!!! :cryga:

OMG yesss I can’t even fathom the possibilities are endless :v:

The ballads will completely melt and annihilate us :firega:

That’s if the desert heat doesn’t already :icega:

yeah because the Monster Ball and its 201 shows in almost 2-year time span evolved every three weeks right  :usrs:

people are so closed minded about the Residency just because it’s been labeled as a dragging weapon against Britney, but in fact it’s no different from touring, meaning it won’t affect her working in other projects including new music and videos, making appearances in award shows etc.

Some of you talk as if she will be restricted from leaving Vegas. :rip:

I am here for the residency, yes, but not here for the embarrassing fan excuses that it's about the health, the fans, the new costumes etc

how? :rip: we all saw Britney charts performance in the last 3 years

Well, I think that has less to do with her residency and more to do with the fact that people just aren't really clamoring for more Britney (outside some of the gay community) nor has she done anything particularly interesting or groundbreaking enough to warrant people's attention.

I mean...people said Cheek to Cheek would kill her also and that revitalized her so I don't doubt her ability to make something that appears to be the final blow into something great.

Meh, I don't really care anymore. She can do whatever she wants. It's cool that she's apparently getting those big cheques, but it makes me sad that she's made such a big commitment without addressing any plans to go to South America, Oceania and Asia. Whether or not this is good for her career, IDK. She's been making some very good and some very questionable decisions about her career over the past year, so who knows. It all depends on the schedule and the performance about which we know nothing (AFAIK). If it's anything like the Joanne "World" Tour, I probably won't see it. I'm probably just jaded; I've felt pretty bored as a Gaga fan since the end of C2C, so don't take my opinion too seriously lol.

Britney wasn't doing so well unfortunately before the Residency either. Her chart position and promo has more to do with how her team handles things rather than the residency.

She was actualy and was doing amazingly, tbh. Scream&Shout was one of the biggest hits of 2013 and she just came fresh out of an era that spawned 4 top 10 hits and a successful world tour. It's during Vegas when she stoped caring about her career and sales.
