I dont think Gaga gets every penny.  Shes not going to be stood there undressed, no staff, no electric, no ushers, no band, no dancers, no lawyers, no manager, no stage hands. Shes not making a lot. Oh good grief, the crazies are out today. (not putting it on you, its a lot of people). Some would think the casino/hotel dont want the majority of it and its rent free too.

I never insinuated that Gaga would get every penny.

Somebody was claiming that each gross would only gross about $400,000, which is extremely incorrect.

Each show will most likely gross about 2-3 million, considering the ticket prices will most likely be astronomical.

She totally just did the opposite that we thought she would do, just like she said :v

But well I guess it's more a good move than a bad one, just like many have said before this is going to help her while promoting ASIB, the soundtrack, herself, new music or maybe even her first greatest hits album.. 

Also this will really help her next tours because the demand (WW) will raise very high and if they know what to do next after Las Vegas, in terms of new music, we promo and tour dates, she could be getting even bigger and we could get bigger tours.. 

For last, this could be also considered as the celebration of her 10 year career and I think that while it's more difficult for international fans to see her live it also makes it easier because she would be performing in the same place and people would be able to save and find the right time to go to see her, like she's always going to be in Las Vegas, probably on the weekends and with the same prices.. (if that makes any sense )

You made a good point! Perhaps next year we might get a Greatest hits with new songs!! That would cover the gap and remind people she has more that a couple of songs which would create interest in the movie and Vegas. Good thinking @Alfonso

I'm not sure if anyone has clarified this to you yet but she was criticised once for the BTW Foundation's expenditures which was misinformation, the criticism was directed at the fact that the BTWFoundation made little "charitable grants" during the fiscal year and people inexperienced in charities took that as the foundation not doing any charity work, that's not what it means.

BTWFoundation is not a grant organisation, they don't collect money and then hand it out to people to do the work for them, it is a charity in itself and they carry out the charitable work themselves with their own employees, so they don't need to be making grants in most instances. Feel free to have your own opinions about how Gaga uses her voice these days but the whole thing about the BTWF money was false.

I think $$ and time flexibility are the major things;  she does not have to kill herself traveling on a tour; instead she gets to stay in one location for a couple of weeks a shot and get a guaranteed $1mil+ per show regardless of whether she sells out the show or just sells 1 ticket.   She doesn't have to worry about production expenses and logistics,  all taken care of by MGM Park.

Plus she will be getting a lot of time in between shows (75 shows in two years = 38 shows a year, figure do 3 shows a week = perform 13 weeks a year,  so can do 1 month, take 3 months off,  repeat 3x)  to do many other projects, finish albums, etc.

And evidently all the major stars are doing this now;   the regular record music business is too difficult now with the streaming music industry paying almost nothing, etc.  so all of them want the lucrative Vegas gigs.

Agree with everything you said But shes getting $400,000 per show. Everything else you said is just like i think
