Joni is queen of so much. A friend and I were front row center for a Rickie Lee Jones concert. The first several rows were hard core Rickie Lee Jones stans. We all had more than an hour to talk before the concert. But the topic of conversation was Joni's album Blue. And so many people were saying it was a must-have in vinyl. I told them my hearing wasn't very good anymore, and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between vinyl and CD. They said I was wrong, I would definitely hear the difference. This is how iconic Joni is. She is the topic of discussion between the stans of another artist! I think the term legend is overused. Imo, there are very few legends, and Joni is one. And Blue is considered among critics to be one of the greatest albums ever produced. It may not be considered great among most GGD members, but in the larger world, it is.
