NYC only has 3 or 4 that eccede that. Many large multi-million cities globally dont have even 1

 

And on top of that Most of the few structures WW that are much higher are towers not regular buildings (although yes theres a few)

 

To have 8 likely ones approach that height or close to it in one city built in a span of a few years is a huge deal

The tallest proposed building is not going to be even in the Top 50 worldwide 

I know it’s a huge deal for Toronto but it’s becoming more common for cities to grow vertically.

i never said they are the first of its kind tho. Im just saying theres several proposed at once and its kind of a big deal
