Huawei is still perceived where I live as the "cheap" brand. I never knew it had so much power. Samsung is still the "good smartphone", alongside Apple.

China is a very smart country. They do care about local companies becoming big unlike European countries who have simply allowed to take American and Asian products over their markets. As a protectionist country, China has the most intelligent strategy to develop its market. They now have high potential Chinese producers. In the EU, the Eastern European countries are simply being taken over by Western/Central European companies, they sell their products there but there are no Eastern European products in the West....  Before I read this aticle, I never heard of "Oppo" before. The hegemony of samsung and Apple must come to an end! My smartphone is by the way also Chinese, and I'm proud to have a Chinese smartphone.

Eastern Europe doesn't care at all because Western companies use factories in... guess where... Eastern Europe.

Smarphones in general only have short shelf life and we must keep updating with new devices every 2-3 years :giggle:

From august to november I had to use my Nexus 4 from 2012 and it is working perfectly fine. If it wasn't for the 8gb and the camera who was bad by 2012 standard it would be a phone I could have used for years. It's still perfectly smooth since it doesn't have manufacturer heavy layers and it still last a full day without charging !!

When Nokia XL happened, it isn't even owned by Nokia anymore but by Microsoft so that explains the issue. Microsoft dont make good smartphones.

But I liked my Lumia 710. But XL's half android made worse. But still I adore Nokia :diane:
