pedrohemg 7,802
She was once bigger than Adele. Her debut album, Rockferry, sold more than 1.7m copies only in the UK in 2008, while Adele 19 couldn't surpass 500.000 in the UK that year. She's now irrelevant, and the causes of her downfall aren't 100% known, but some sources point she suffered from the same problem many other singers suffer when they rise to fame, she started having issues with her team and eventually fired them. Let's remember her powerful and unique voice.
BloodyM 1,256
I remember reading on NME something about her saying that she doesn't want to continue music as Endlessly didn't do well commercially and would rather live a quite life.
prince 4,688
I remember in 2011 she was saying how she didn't make music to be adored and liked and she wasn't bothered about the money so she thought if i'm not doing this for anything then I won't do it at all. Also didn't that Coke advert basically destroy her?

Arcanum 5,155
The time Duffy errupted was the time that Amy Winehouse was the UK soul *thing*. Duffy was 100% manufactured artist so that she could continue the brand of UK soul artists that would break into US. Unfortunately, the problem with such artists is that if they don't have a team with artistic vision, they soon decline. I do love Rockferry. I Wantth your Love...I Wantth your Love.
