Saint Laurent 4,862
So, as well all know, Selena suffers from lupus. Her lupus recently meant that she had to receive a kidney transplant. Shortly after she has returned with her new single 'Wolves'. I'm not sure if any of you know this, but the Latin translation of 'lupus' is 'wolf'. So, the song is obviously a lot deeper than some may think. I found this quite interesting since I'd previously not had much respect for her so, it's interesting to see her songs having more depth than usual. Let me know if you knew this and what you think now if you didn't. P.S. Please DO NOT bash her performance here, we know she lipped. This isn't the place for that. FATCAT 59,901
I mean, that might be a coincidence. The lyrics of the song are hardly connectable to some deeper meaning of illness.. This kitten over here (meow)

TheJoanneJoker 3,866
And yeah, in latin, lupus stands for actual wolves, not the actual disease and she probably has no idea about this anyway, since it's a dead language and nobody speaks it anymore. it has just influenced the actual French, Italian, Spanish, Portugese and Romanian languages. It doesn't have any meaning, it's just the plain and flat radio **** spawn that the GP loves.

Just because it doesn't really mean anything to you, the same doesn't go for her; perhaps you don't see it because you haven't experienced what she has. Obviously, she's not going to sing 'I'm sad because I have lupus', that wouldn't sell records, which she is in the business of doing.

Spoiler i didn't watch the performance and i don't care if she lip-synced. Spoiler there are bigger problems in the world, people. wake the f-ck up. if you like the song, good. if you don't - don't visit threads about it.
