Then why isn't The Cure in the top 10 yet? P!nk is higher on the chart. Also, P!nk seems to be getting the most likes on AMAs' pages regarding comparisons.

Beautiful Trauma is a better song than The Cure tho. Not that the chart performance is indicative of the quality of a song, but yeah...

No, we're talking about performance reception. And P!nk's is getting more attention. Also, if we're going to talk about how a performance will be "talked about" then sales or time don't really matter regarding how long a song has been out. Social media also suggests that Shawn Mendes had a bigger performance then both of them even with an old single.

If The Cure was more receptive from the masses then it would be back in the top 20 on iTunes at least by this point. I don't think we can blatantly say that Gaga had the best performance if we choose to ignore charts and social media responses.

I agree. The Cure to me was just Gaga's way of proving that she can still write a catchy pop song without even trying. But the song and the performance was nothing spectacular or groundbreaking. If she performed a Joanne song (DIC for example) it would've made more sense and the GP's reception would be a lot better.

The performance was a cool idea and props to her for being so brave. I love a lot of her performances but I just can’t get into her music. If she were just performing it on the stage we wouldn’t be talking about it so much. This performance is hands down going to be memorable and Pink is a great vocalist, I just feel her music is not exciting so she makes up for it with really cool performances.
