we may have been colonized by Spain and practiced their culture esp. religion and we may also have mestizos but sorry i have to agree with @JR Gg we are ASIANS, we're far from being latino even though we've been influenced by SPAIN in our language, religion, values, traditions, culture in general. that being said, i can even notice us FILIPINOS being more "Americanized" these days. our hispanic heritage is slowly fading and even if we'll be more liberated in the near future still we are ASIANS physically, geographically, in culture and tradition, in language, etc. with influences from America and Spain. Our early ancestors are said to be from Indonesia and Malaysia by the way and I can see BIG similarity of our race from our neighboring countries even up to this day (except mestizos).

Venezuela was gorgeous, and so was Thailand!  Too bad Thailand bombed the Q&A.  I think Philippines would’ve been the top 2 along with SA, but I feel like the pageant was groomed/rigged for SA (there were rumors that IMG wanted to crown an African country).

Hate the new format where there are only 4 contestants from each region.  It’s a horrible attempt at making the finalists more diverse and is actually unfair to other contestants who would’ve had a top preliminary score but was cut because their region is full.

Shape Of You should not even be nominated at SOTY, it's a generic song that has like 6 writers and same for that Humble song, the lyrics are literally a shame, if any of these 2 songs wins SOTY then whoever voted for these songs should not be allowed to vote anymore it'll be a disaster.
