As of now there's no hype for the movie and Gaga's popularity has been decreasing year after year all around the globe except the US. And she's also credited as Stefani Germanotta... that's not promising at all. But hopefully it will be good, so maybe good word of mouth will save it

It also has to be considered that a lot of people were joking when they said something like Gaga and this movie will get all the Oscar's....... I have seen the vast majority in this forum knew what to expect from the beginning considering it is the 3rd re-boot of the movie with Cooper having his directiorial debut.

Imho I didn't expect critical acclaim for this movie at all but I hope it will be a solid movie with average critics. That's all I am asking for and I would be really happy about it.

I think Gaga has more drawing power than we give her credit for. People also tend to love movie musicals in the states so I’m expecting minimum 100M WW.

we are like 6 months away sis, its not a blockbuster from marvel

I think moving it to May could be a good decision (for the boxscores) even with big movies like The Avengers and the Han Solo movie because it works as a perfect counterpart to them. While the blockbusters are attracting a younger audience. ASIB could appeal very good with an older demographic consisting of soccer mums and elders.
