which is why I'm asking for @viniferrett's definition. Rih has steady sales/charting with her singles but Katy and Gaga had higher peaks with their hits. This is like comparing medium sized hits, to smash hits to mega hits. The diamond singles would be mega hits, Rihanna's hits would range from medium-sized hits to smash hits. But they are all hits nonetheless.

yeah, I get your point..

Rih's most hits may not be as massive as Gaga's and Katy's but still "HITS" . thanks for her radio appeal to almost evry radio format, and now thanks to her streaming power.. her H100 chart runs are actually impressive and coming to snatch Madonna's wig.

Thank you  but still this is an overall iTunes chart tho. I remember seeing 6 Gaga's album from #1 to #6 on iTunes POP Chart.

Like... there's no way Judas or Perfect Illusion would have become singles if Interscope had somebody like this tbh. Gaga knew both songs weren't really "smash hits" per se and didn't want them as singles but some delulu exec thought they were.

What makes you think she chose either of then to be singles?

I know this isn’t Gaga-related but I’m proud of my fav boy-band ‘Why Don’t We’ having a Holiday EP going to #4 on the overall chart

Let's go back a bit. How do you define "hitmaker"? Once I figure out what you mean, then we can discuss.

imo rihanna doesn't have as many iconics, if will, hits than gaga and katy

rihanna is a bigger hitmaker than both, but she just doesn't have the impact both had

and doesn't rihanna has almost the same number of top 10's solo as gaga?

by 2015 yearend, AP sold an estimated amount of 750k in the US and 700k for C2C thanks to the holiday and commercial boost. since then AP sold 18k while C2C sold 50k (March 30, 2017 last update). roughly 64 weeks.. 280copies and 780copies weekly average respectively. if they continue to sell 280 and 780 copies per week respectively, then C2C will outsell AP by yearend with 781.2k VS 779.2k . :firega:

but since I doubt both will maintain those weekly average considering the climate.. lemme lower em to 250 for AP and 700 for C2C weekly, then C2C and AP will post same amount of copies sold which is 778k by yearend.. :excited2:

can't wait for that thread "C2C outells ARTPOP" :excited2:
