The problem with Gaga (or I guess its the exact opposite of a problem if you’re viewing it from an artistic authencity point of view) is that her producers and her label are so far apart in thought processes and just working as one in general. Everything Taylor does is calculated, I’m sure her label is in direct contact with Max and Jack about what themes and sounds they want on the album. Everything Gaga and her producers do in the studio sounds like its going to own radio to them but her marketing/promo people has no input and that alone is the beginning of the “problem”. If Interscope has their foot on Gaga’s neck we all know she just doesnt listen. See: IWBWY —> Dope.

Taylor (and Beyonce) are very calculated. I wish Gaga would be a bit like this too.
