Green Detox 2,779
"Despacito" won big at the Latin Grammys. Luis Fonsi's megahit featuring Daddy Yankee was the biggest winner of the night Thursday, picking up four trophies. The song, whose video is the most watched on YouTube, was honored for record of the year, best short-form music video, best urban fusion/performance (for the remix version and earned Justin Bieber his first Latin Grammy) and song of the year. http://abcnews.go.com/amp/Entertainment/wireStory/latest-residente-despacito-remix-win-latin-grammys-51208694 The song is a bop (especially the original version). Luis and Daddy Yankee seem to be very humble people. So for me they deserve those awards. But as for Justin? With that whole "Despacitooo ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba despacito" mess, it's kind of annoying to see him win.

The song was overplayed yes, but in terms of quality it is still better than most #1 songs this year. Better than Ed Sheeran’s Cheap Thrills or Look What You Made Republicans Do, for example. They deserve nothing I think the main show only qualifies english songs and that's why the Latin Grammys is separated. Idk if bilingual songs are allowed, cuz that means they will have to nominate the bieber version instead

Of course I want Melon Raisins to win, but let’s be honest, the Grammys is a popularity contest to some extent, and I would rather Despacito win over Trump Swift or Meh Sheeran. Formation had social impact to women. They ignored it and gave everything to adele. It's based on popularity but also their own taste
