Man. Imagine Gaga running around in their company back in the 70's. She would have slayed the scene. And it was a time that was kinder to musicians and artists too.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

We'd already have gotten a new Gaga album if it was in the 70's. :giggle: Especially if she was like Bowie or Joni Mitchell pretty much releasing albums every year, sometimes twice.

Her biggest decades were the 1970s and 1980s in terms of having pop hits.

In terms of commercial success in country music, she was big in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.

If you aren’t familiar with her music, I strongly suggest listening to her. If you need any recommendations as to where to start, feel free to PM me.

Don't forget the goddess of disco Donna Summer

FOR SURE. She was actually the most successful female singer of the 70s (trying to find my source from Billboard on that, but i've seen it before). I just wish she was in this picture, that's the only reason I didn't have her in it.

Would Debbie Harry and Stevie Nicks count as icons of the 70s since Blondie and Fleetwood Mac's most successful albums came out in the late 70s?
