That was an insane night, nobody knew what was going on until she announced something. I loved the simplicity of it. It was just "SINGLE: 8/19, PREORDER: 10/??, ALBUM: 11/11. Yo GagaGaga 6,541 Posted November 16, 2017 Share Posted November 16, 2017 I'm a pretty recent fan, so all this proves is that I don't have Dementia I guess, but I remember waiting for the halftime show, I told my family to invite everyone they knew over and pretended I cared about football for like 3 days, and I remember this intense dialogue a few hours before it started My Parents Friend: "so what does everybody think about Gaga doing the halftime show?" Me: "well, I'm actually kind of exci-" My Mom: "wELl yOu KnOw i WoNdEr iF sHeS gOnnA sHoW hEr FaCe BeCaUsE shE uSEd tO nEVer LeT anYOne SeE iT" and I was very confused, and i spent the next hour wondering if my mom thought Gaga was just Sia for the first few years of her career. I will NEVER forget watching Paparazzi at VMAs 09 orĀ her performance at the Grammys with Elton John. Also vividly remember: Going to buy Born This Way at HMV, trying to get wifi at an airport on my iPod Touch for the Telephone music video premier, and also theĀ You and I video premier wasĀ so exciting. First time I listened to ARTPOP was iconic... Battle 4 Ur Life 6,698 Posted November 16, 2017 Share Posted November 16, 2017 I remember the day I saw Paparazzi at the VMA 09. we had just subscribed to HD cable a couple weeks agoĀ and I got to seeĀ that historical event liveĀ in HDĀ and I already knew it was going to be epic before it even happened I was anticipating it. but when it was over I was like. never. again. the same. I realized the world and the industry would never be the same and the only option would be to bow down to that animal talent in front of us. then TFM happened and I didn't pay attention to it because I was deep down in the indie game I would only listen to brit rock or experimental or folk or hipster **** so I didn't really embrace the monster thing but I was already a closeted fan. then me and a couple friends drove to the beach and The Fame was one of the albums of the trip and I completely fell in love with her and realized how much artistry was hidden underneath the pop packaging. I remember also obsessing about Telephone video when I heard JA would be directing it and it was a continuation of Paparazzi. needless to say my weave was dissolved when it came out. so yeah, then when BTW was announced at the VMA's I was like: CAN I GET THIS F* ALBUM RIGHT NOW B*? I NEED IT IN MY LIFE! so when it came out I devoured it. then I got into GGD to obsess over the singles and the videos. MTN video anticipation was torture and that's when I really evolved into super stan mode. by the time ARTPOP was announced I was logging in every single day and guess what, it's been like this ever since. 5 years now. and all I want is MORE MORE MORE GAGA! āFantastic, chic, freak, slay.ā Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

SCHEISSEMONTRE 2,783 Posted November 16, 2017 Share Posted November 16, 2017 BTW and ARTBOPĀ when Born This Way (song) came out I was confused about my sexuality and I was in 5th Grade (Iām in 10th grade now) then Judas which got me into the dark sides of Gaga which lead me to TF + TFM, then theĀ Ā Marry The Night Performance at the VMAās along with the YoĆ¼ and The Edge Of Glory.Ā ARTPOP was confusing for me. Cause I remember Applause and the iconic performance then. It fade it out till I got the album and I was on the right track. I remember listening for the first time to Poker Face,Ā Bad Romance and Monster at the Lady Gaga Pack from Rock Band 2Ā . At my birthday when my mom buyed me my first Gaga album that was The Remix 'cause she only knew the name of some songsĀ she said randomly to the emplooyer so she gave her this awesome compilation , it was the lastest album of hers that time and then I bought The Fame Monster DeluxeĀ . When the Scheisse and Government Hooker remixes for Mugler, the first time I saw BTW video, the Holy Week mess with Judas and the BTW Album cover that everybody hated. In fact there were theories about that cover mixing religious stuff to justified it wasn't in fact the final artwork . The FarmVille 'GagaVille' Promo. The first time I saw the photoshoot for BTW at the player for GagaVille songs. The day I bought BTW at 25th May and the first time I listened to Heavy Metal Lover it was CLIMAX . The Judas video, the Y&I video, the MTN video. The ARTPOP anuncement , the Applause video, the feud between Applause and Roar. The mess with Venus and DWUW. The iTunes Festival I was SHOCKED . The hype for the DWUW video and then I pretty much forgot the following year 'cause I was upset with the ARTPOP era mess . But I still recall Gaga and Tony slaying C2C at the Grammy's . Werk 13,166 Posted November 16, 2017 Share Posted November 16, 2017 Someone apparently invited us to a freaking buffet literally the day GUY's MV came out Ā I complained about it to my parents and I was pissed because as much as I love buffets, this would've my first time experiencing an event like this where I saw the MV's releaseĀ on tv so when I was at the buffet I had to vaguely watch the MV under the buffet table on my phone (with glitchy connection) then come back home and watch it again properly. EveryĀ morning I had this medicine to take, it was a few drops to keep in my mouth for 2 minutes or something before having breakfast. And I would watch an equivalent of MTV (you know, a channel that broadcasts trendy music videos) and the Telephone MV would be broadcast often at some period.
