Runway 27,876
Oh, sure, this Witness the Tour – which swings back through the area early next year for a Jan. 31 date at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento – has some fun moments. It also looks like it cost zillions of bucks to stage. But it’s pretty much all wasted in a pointless exercise to prove, well, who knows what? The pop star, who sold some 17 million copies of her first three major-label releases, is in a bit of a slump lately. It’s been so bad that, really, it’s hard to say she even belongs to be discussed as being in the same league with her (former?) rival Taylor Swift. It mostly circles around her new album, “Witness,” which is the first real dud she’s had since breaking big with “One of these Boys” in 2008. Sure, it debuted at No. 1 (like basically everything else does these days), but it had no real staying power and quickly plummeted down the charts. It produced one decent single “Chained to the Rhythm” – which is Perry at her most Madonna-esque – but the other songs have failed to catch on with the public. It was just a poorly designed and executed stage show, so busy in approach that it gave fans little time to appreciate what should’ve been the main attraction: Katy Perry. But it was hard to think about her singing and set list when we were being led through one over-the-top theatrical world after another. The journey took us from a place where people boogie aboard giant gold dice to a spot where folks have TVs as heads to a land where were mini-humans move about giant bugs and flowers to so on. None of it made any sense. And people soon caught on to that. http://www.mercurynews.com/2017/11/15/why-did-it-get-so-quiet-at-the-katy-perry-concert-in-san-jose/

Red 98,029
This is how I felt with ever one of her tours. It's just not worth it. If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Irrelevant 20,282
honestly the tour isn't that bad, it's just that she needs to use less props, hope she improves in the KP5 world tour 광야로 걸어가 알아 네 home ground

Easy 5,305
I feel really bad for her. This feels like ARTPOP all over. I hope she comes through with her Joanne. And tbh she is actually a good live performer, she has the charisma to do it. Her team should realise she doesn’t need all the memes and probs and random stuff. I would go to her concert even if she only sings Miss You More/ Into Me You See/ Ghost/ Legends Never Die types of songs.
